PLANT
ADORNO peppers are very similar in shape to a bullet, have a smooth surface, reach a length of no more than 2 centimetres, and have a fruity flavour. During the ripening process, which can vary from around 60 to 80 days, they change colour from dark green-purple as soon as they are born, to red when fully ripe.
The degree of spiciness that these fruits can reach, varies from 30000 to 50000 Scoville degrees, quite intense, suitable for those who like spicy foods but without overdoing it.
Peppers are not suitable for drying in this case, but can be stored in the freezer.
CULTIVATION
To cultivate Adorno, one must consider that it is a chilli pepper that prefers a hot and humid climate, similar to the tropics. Water as needed.
COLLECTION
Once it has reached maturity, it is detached from the plant throughout the summer.
USES IN THE KITCHEN
In the kitchen, it is recommended with braised meats and game.
