PLANT
Belonging to the Solanaceae family, it is a perennial plant.
Of Mexican origin, its plant is bushy and can grow up to 50 cm high and slightly less wide. Its fruits are horn-shaped, rather spicy and red in colour, grown in bunches, which can reach 5-6 cm in length. High spiciness, 700,000 SHU.
CULTIVATION
To cultivate the Maya pepper, it should be borne in mind that it is a pepper that prefers a hot and humid climate, similar to a tropical climate. Water as needed.
COLLECTION
Once it has reached maturity, it is detached from the plant throughout the summer.

In the kitchen, it is recommended with braised meats and game.
