PLANT

Calathea Leopardina is a member of the Marantaceae family, a plant found in subtropical regions, particularly in the jungles of Brazil. The plants grow in the wild as shrubs, which can easily reach a height of a few metres.
Calathea Leopardina has beautiful bright green leaves with dark green stripes. It is a true beauty that easily matches any interior. The leaf is not the only noteworthy feature of Calathea Leopardina, the plant, for example, has very strong air-purifying properties. This means that the plant not only produces extra oxygen, but also filters out harmful substances from the air.

CULTIVATION

Calathea Leopardina needs moist soil, plenty of moisture and plenty of light but not direct sun. Position Calathea Leopardina away from cold currents and increase the surrounding humidity as much as possible by selecting a spot in the house that is naturally wetter (such as a bathroom or kitchen).
