PLANT

The Hot Lemon pepper is a hot pepper of the Aji species, of Peruvian origin, which until a few years ago was rather rare in Italy. Its original name is Kellu Uchu, also known as Aji Limon, and it is part of the Capsicum Baccatum. This is the first year that I have grown this chilli, but I can assure you that it has been worth it: the colour that the garden takes on with all those yellow chillies surrounded by green is indescribable.

CULTIVATION

When cultivating hot peppers, it should be borne in mind that they prefer a hot and humid climate, similar to a tropical climate. Water as needed.

COLLECTION

Once it has reached maturity, it is detached from the plant throughout the summer.

USES IN THE KITCHEN

In the kitchen, it is recommended with braised meats and game.
