FEATURES

Aromatic Malvasia di Candia is a vine of medium and constant vigour and production. It is suitable for well-exposed, poorly fertile, hilly terrain with a medium-to-low drought climate.

GRAPPOLO

has a medium-sized, pyramid-shaped, elongated cluster with a highly developed wing.
Average bunch weight: 120 to 160 g.

ACINO

is medium, golden yellow in colour, spheroidal in shape. The skin is thick, pruinose, opalescent. The flesh has a pleasant muscat flavour.

Sprouting: 2nd-3rd decade of April
Flowering: 2nd ten days of June
Ripening: 2nd-3rd decade of September

CHARACTERISTICS ENOLOGICAL CHARACTERISTICS

produces a straw-coloured or light golden yellow, sweetish wine with a pleasant muscat aroma. It is generally vinified with other varieties to obtain dry, sweet or semi-sweet wines.
