The Philodendron Hope Selloum (Philodendron bipinnatifidum), recently reclassified Thaumatophyllum bipinnatifidum, is a hardy plant native to the tropical regions of South America. Under the right conditions, their deeply lobed leaves can grow to almost 150 cm, but indoors they can still give any room an immensely tropical feel.

The Philodendron appreciates a warm moist environment and a moderate amount of water and light. Place it in a spot where it will receive medium to intense indirect light. This plant suffers in spaces with low light. It can tolerate very bright light, but may require additional care.
Philodendrons prefer slightly moist soil. As epiphytes with aerial roots, they are sensitive to over-watering, so make sure there is no waterlogging.
