PLANT

The Raspberry (Rubus Idaeus) is a plant native to continental Europe and Asia Minor.
The European raspberry is a bushy plant, consisting of numerous biennial suckers arising from the roots, so that there is a continuous renewal of the bush, which expands in width., The suckers, provided with a light-green epidermis, are up to 2 m long. The main roots are stubby and rhizomatous, while the secondary roots are superficial and fasciculate. The leaves are deciduous, consisting of 3-5 oval, dark green leaflets with serrated margins. The flowers are grouped in racemes borne by flowering shoots that arise, in uniflorous varieties, apically and laterally to the previous year's suckers, or also to the year's suckers in re-flowering cultivars.

The POLANA variety has large, 3.5 g, round, deep dark red fruit with a fruity taste, intense aroma and high sugar content.
